Your clients want to pay you by credit card, but you don't have a card terminal?

No problem! Your clients can now pay you by credit card through AssisTime!

This article explains how to turn on this feature.

PayPal or Stripe account

AssisTime has integrated two payment providers: PayPal and Stripe. You therefore need an account with one of them.

Check these providers' websites to make the best choice for your business. They charge transaction fees, which have nothing to do with AssisTime. We have no control over these fees and receive no commission from these providers.

Note that a PayPal Business account is not required.

Also note that if you want to collect recurring payments (for a monthly subscription, for example), Stripe is required.

Connect AssisTime to your provider

To do this, go to the Accounting - Customize - Payments menu:

When you check PayPal or Stripe, the fields to fill in appear:

For PayPal, enter the email address linked to your account.

For Stripe, you need to provide your publishable and secret keys, which you'll find in your account. To get them, click Developers at the top right, then API keys in the left-hand menu. Follow the steps to generate your keys.

Let your clients pay by credit card

When you invoice a client, the transaction confirmation page includes a button that takes you to the payment page. If you have your client's credit card number on hand, you can use it to complete the payment.

You can also click the Send button to email the invoice to your client. The email will contain a button that takes them to the payment page.
